On 8 November 2023, CNTY’s Tongzhou Bay Comprehensive Resource Utilisation Project successfully passed the project completion acceptance. The project covers an area of 123.8 mu (82,450m2) and mainly handles household waste in Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Area and Nantong Municipal City, with a total investment of about RMB 700 million, comprising three sub-projects, namely, waste incineration for power generation (1,200t/d), slag utilisation (400t/d), and fly ash plasma treatment (100t/d).
The acceptance work was presided over by Tang Hechun, assistant to general manager of Nantong Tianying EcoEnergy. Leaders from Tongzhou Bay Construction Bureau, construction company, design company, inspection and supervisory agency jointly carried out on-site investigation, and carefully reviewed the relevant completion item. At the same time, a detailed report was made to the leaders of Tongzhou Bay Construction Bureau, who highly praised the Project and acknowledged: the Project was implemented according to the design standards and requirements, the construction procedure complete and qualified, and therefore the acceptance of the Project was agreed.
