Iceland's Minister of the Environment, Energy and Climate, Gudlaugur Thór Thórdarson, extended his congratulations on this signing via a video message. He noted that the partnership between Icelandic and Chinese companies in advancing industrial decarbonization exemplifies the unwavering dedication of both parties to sustainable development.

CRI CEO Lotte Rosenberg emphasized the shared commitment of CRI and CNTY to advancing green technology. CRI aims to leverage its proprietary Emissions-To-Liquids (ETL) technology in collaboration with CNTY to initiate groundbreaking, large-scale green methanol projects, thus contributing significantly to the future of sustainable energy production.

CNTY CEO Cao Debiao affirmed the wide recognition CRI's ETL technology has received in the industry, and highlighted this partnership as a pivotal step in advancing CNTY's strategic objectives in the new energy sector. He conveyed his expectation for both parties to collaborate effectively to ensure project success and excellence, positioning themselves at the forefront of China and progressing towards global frontiers.

CNTY's introduction of CRI's ETL technology empowers its integrated energy project in Liaoyuan. This not only exemplifies CNTY's proactive response to China's dual-carbon strategy, but will also boost Northeast China as a leading force in the zero-carbon economy worldwide.
